赤壁

吴宇森的《赤壁》把我们熟悉的三国典故一一给于了画面。"草船借箭”“借东风”这些耳熟能详的故事被逐段串成了一部精彩的影片。

最喜欢梁朝伟的周瑜，潇洒果断，这与我印象中的周瑜很不一样。我一直觉得周瑜是小器鬼，才会有“ 瑜亮情结”由来。金城武的诸葛亮我却不是太喜欢，总觉得怪怪的，诸葛亮不应该是帅哥而是Uncle 才对。

戏里小乔夜探曹营在原著里并没有这一段. 曹操这个枭雄因美色误了江山，一杯茶的时间等到了东风 改变了这场战争的结果。熟悉三国的朋友埋怨许多戏里的情节并没有忠于原著，我倒觉得这没什么。罗贯仲的《三国演义》也是小说，不是史记。

YES Man

Caught "Yes Man" last night. The show was about a man who was forever saying "no" to new stuff and made excuses to be away from the crowd. As a result, he was trapped in his own routine of working in the same job for 8 years and his only activity after work was to hit the DVD store and spend the rest of the night on his counch in front of the TV. The change came when he attended a seminar where he was made to draw up a covenant with himself to say "yes" to everything that came his way. It was hard in the beginning but after that saying "yes" become his habit. He took up a new foreign language which came in useful when he was dealing with a grumpy Korean salesgirl. Guitar lessons which he enabled him to play and sing to a man who was contemplating sucide and he was able to persuade the guy to see the light with his music and lyrics. However when saying "yes' became an automatic response, it brought on nasty recourses like all things when you bring them to the extreme The show taught us that we should always stop and listen our heart and say "yes" when you truely meant it.

The show was hilarous as with the rest of the Jim Carrey's shows. I spent an entertaining 2 hrs laughing at Jim's Carrey's performance. Though it was not as thought provoking as his " The Truman Show", nonethless it was still one of the better movies I had caught as compared to the ones I had watched for the past 6 months.
